It’s another new year and a good time to refresh, ever so slightly, the newsletter. Nothing very dramatic, mostly oiling the wheels a bit.
I have two related newsletters on Substack. There is this one, Whilst Out Walking - 1001 Species, published once a week at 11am each Sunday, and then there is the quite short Whilst Out Walking - Snapshots which has appeared usually daily at 10 am (midmorning coffee time - some readers say they like that). The readership for both titles is gradually and gratifyingly increasing. Because of the similarity in content and of the interests of many of the subscribers, I plan to associate the two newsletter.
I INVITE you, should you not already do so, to consider also subscribing to the hitherto usually daily, newsletter under the title of Whilst Out Walking - Snapshots. No compulsion at all, entirely your decision. Briefly … I go walking or potter in the wildlife garden most days. Keeps me healthy. I often see things worth noting and occasionally worth sharing - birds, bees, butterflies, plants and I post just one or two photographs, with minimal text for context … it has been daily but henceforth that may become a bit less frequent. Especially in this season of cold and wet and snow.
The button below will take you to the “Snapshots” newsletter where you can find a subscription link if you like what you see.
Thanks for your continued support. I reiterate what I have promised you in the past - despite the fact that Substack allows me, positively encourages me at times, to charge a subscription fee, that is something I will never activate. Free means free.
