Trees - you right, they have not received the attention they deserve, and what’s worse there is an arboretum ten minutes from home! The botanists are from a remembered walk in Iceland.
In many ways it is - but very much more so. Gros Morne is exposed mantle rocks while Iceland is mostly a thick layer of volcanic larva over the top.
