At last - and a whole week earlier than ever
9 March
Just one photograph. The very first Snowdrop of 2026 emerged today. At about 10am it was barely a green button poking above the water and ice but it is growing fast, this was a bare six hours later. This is a full week earlier than last spring … we have much freezing rain forecast for a couple of days hence, but this will survive. Tough little plants. There is great excitement here, so great we need a cup of tea.

Ours have been up since mid Feb, in Seattle. Still early for this, area
Totally worthy of a cup of tea, and congratulations!
