Now the snows have gone, wildlife will find sourcing a meal rather easier than it has been for some months … though that doesn’t mean it is all that easy yet. This rabbit has spent a lot of time rootling underneath the wood-chip path to fine edible grass roots.
Another “this date but not here or this year” picture. This is an ancient coppiced English beech woodland with carpeting of wood anemones. I think it’s a delight.
