27 October - a bonus post

My regular weekly newsletter will be published later this morning but I think you might like these photographs as an extra treat to savour with your morning cup of tea. It was very cold (2C) and quite windy beside the river just after seven this morning - but the light was simply too perfect to miss PLUS a Bald Eagle was perched in one of the trees as I arrived and flew off across the lake.

A perfect start to the day.
