We do it for our pleasure too … and welcome visitors who would like to look around and maybe get some ideas. You have to be brave to start the transformation but the result is so worthwhile.
Hard to believe this is a suburban yard! Is that a functional greenhouse at the back, and is the waterfall to the left of that? Do you still feed the birds through the summer?
Yes - albeit the out suburbs and we have more trees here than most. The rear garden in the photo is 100ft square. It's a small greenhouse mostly for raising seedlings followed by a few tomatoes and aubergines. The pond and waterfall are to the left of it. We feed birds all year round but in the summer only two squirrel-proof feeders (sunflower seed and peanuts) while in winter we go whole hog and something for everyone.
So lovely to see what you have done. Bless you for doing this!
