Things seen Whilst Out Walking … is what this newsletter is about.
So, walking. There was an article in The Guardian yesterday about the Lyke Wake Walk. Many years ago J and I provided the support group for a couple of friends who successfully made it inside the target time. It’s quite a slog, very tiring. So much so that the article mentions "The Yorkshire philosophy: mistrust jollity," which rather speaks to my Yorkshire soul - explains a lot.
